You, the New Energies and 2012

This is a crazy and wonderful ride we are on at this amazing time in our collective history. The new energies are on the planet. They aren't coming next year; they are here right now. Is life a struggle? Are you letting go and moving forward? Or are you stuck as if in glue? It doesn't have to feel that way and while life can be challenging as we transform along with the planet, it doesn't need to be as difficult as we are making it.

So here are some ideas to help you move into the new energies. You want to calibrate to these energies and you want to calibrate them to you.

  1. Let go of anything that no longer serves you and your highest good: clothing, household items, "stuff," friends and acquaintances, toxic emotions, anger or hostility towards anyone, including yourself. And the question about friends and acquaintances is: are you really serving yourself or anyone else by hanging onto someone that no longer fits either of you? You've changed; they've changed and you have little in common and/or you dread having to call or contact them. You get the picture. You no longer fit with each other.

    With clothing and household items you can donate them, don't throw things away that are still of good use. I remember being a poor college student and getting a 20-year old couch from a friend's relative. I thought I'd struck gold! And I still remember that couch when I wonder whether I should throw something out or donate it.

    Anger or hostility damages your body, makes you sick, makes you miserable, and damages your spirit. It negatively impacts everyone around you AND in the new energies, there is no room for lower vibrational energies. It's time to forgive, move out of your ego and into your spirit. Forgive yourself; forgive others and move on.
  2. Take time to rest, I mean really rest. If you were someone who needed 8 hours of sleep a night, you may find you need 9 or 10 now.

  3. Take time to be quiet, sit in nature, walk in the woods or a park - without talking and preferably without thinking - just feeling the wind blowing in your face, watching the squirrels, rabbits or other animals play. Watch the season unfold. If it's fall - watch the trees change their color, drop their leaves, flowers die. If it's spring, watch the trees begin to dress up for summer and the flowers begin to stick their heads up out of the cold ground. Take time to notice and observe what is happening in nature around you. Or if you don't have access to trees, parks and such, sit quietly and count your own breath. Yoga, tai chi and other energy moving tools are very helpful too.

  4. As you go through your day, intend to do it IN the new energies. If you are struggling, then you are out of alignment with the new energies. Intend again to be IN the new energies. Ask your guides or guardians for assistance to be in the new energies. Ask to align with the new grids on the planet. Ask for your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body to be in the new energies.
